I looove lang-8.
I've joined it for more than a year, and learn both English and Japanese through lang-8.
I found many nice people there who corrected my entries or just leave comments. ^__^

I've been using Lang-8 for perhaps 4 months and I love it! It's the best language learning resource I've found for learning Chinese, besides ChinesePod. I've never had a problem with a shortage of corrections. In fact, my very first Chinese journal got over 20 comments. *_*

Good luck with your language studies, guys!

Thanks for the Lang-8 heads. Similar sites (like LiveMocha) don't have a Thai section. Lang-8 does.

I'm almost tempted to take French up again due to all the materials available online...

I have been using Lang-8 fro a while. The site is really good, although sometimes I don`t get corrections for my texts. If the number of user increase it can be one of the best resources to practice your writing skills.

It's similar, but not quite the same. I just now discovered that LiveMocha does indeed have an area where you can write, and other members can correct it (under Practice). It looks like you have to use one of their prompts though; there isn't a "free writing" option. The correction interface at LiveMocha certainly seems a bit nicer; they even have the option to add an audio comment to someone's entry, which is pretty cool.
